They stepped out of the shower stall and started toweling themselves dry, when Caleb pulled her towards him and feasted on her mouth again.

“How about this? Take today to think things over and tomorrow evening we have dinner.”

“Like a date?” Sarah asked suspiciously, as her fingers combed through his wet hair.

“Exactly like a date,” Caleb said, giving her a light smack on the bum.

“I’m not sure, Caleb.” Sarah answered, slapping his hand away.

“Just think about it. I’d like to tell you something. Let’s talk tomorrow night?” He looked at her with the question in his eyes.

“Alright, but that means no knocking me awake in the middle of the night.”

“Don’t worry,” he smiled. “After the dark part is done, I normally take a few days off to relax. So you don’t even have to see me today or tomorrow, I’ll take care of my own meals.” He winked at her as he stepped out of the small bathroom.

Seconds later Sarah heard the cottage door click close behind him.
